Let me just say upfront: there is absolutely no doubt about the quality here. They serve some of the absolute best ice creams and desserts on the menu. The Highlights: * Top-Notch Taste: The sundae was phenomenal. The fresh Alphonso mangoes were perfect, and they paired incredibly well with the tender coconut ice cream and tadgola. * Great Ambiance: Despite having a garden setup, they have managed the space beautifully. There's excellent lighting, and surprisingly, not a single insect in sight. * Polite Staff: The team is courteous and very quick to clean up the tables between customers. Constructive Feedback: While the dessert was 10/10, there are a few operational and structural things the management could improve: * Seating Arrangements: They should consider adding more dedicated 2-seater tables for couples. Relying heavily on 4-seaters and group tables hurts seating efficiency during busy hours. * Order Management: Adding a digital or audio token-calling mechanism would make the pickup process much smoother. * Self-Bussing: While the staff is quick to clean, management should encourage a culture where customers throw their own paper cups and wooden spoons into the dustbins. It’s unfair to the hardworking staff when people just leave their trash behind on the tables. * The Pricing: My only real concern is the cost. At around *₹300* for the sundae, the pricing is genuinely on the higher side. Make no mistake—the taste and quality are totally worth it. However, considering Meridian is a large chain, they should look into procuring raw materials at better economies of scale to bring costs down, or introduce calendar discounts to make these amazing treats more accessible. * The Verdict: If you want premium, fresh, fruit-based desserts and don't mind paying a premium price for them, this is the place to be!
